Trekking holiday - Pakistan - Karakoram Mountains

TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED DUE TO POLITICAL UNREST.

For the trekker and mountaineer that seeks a slightly more challenging adventure, we offer two alternatives in Pakistan. Ex. Islamabad via Skardu in the Balti region of the Karakoram.

Spantik Peak, at just over 7000m high, presents a challenge to those who would like to take their climbing experience beyond the trekking peaks of Nepal.

Spantik is a beautiful mountain and according to mountaineer Simon Yates (touching the void), the view from the summit is "the best I have ever seen".

In addition to the Spantik climb, we also operate the following spectacular treks.

K2 Base Camp via the Gondogoro-La. A true remote area, non-technical mountaineering experience for the fitICAL  and seasoned trekker.

For those that would like to visit K2 basecamp without the commitment required for the crossing of Gondogoro La, we run a trek to the Baltoro Glacier and Concordia.

This trek is less demanding, but is still a magnificent mountain wilderness experience.

From the Baltoro Glacier, we ascend the legendary Godwin Austin Glacier to the K2 Base Camp. From here we can study the various climbing routes on what has become known as the killer mountain, K2.

From this vantage point, we can also view many other famous mountains.

A concentration of massive peaks that define the Karakoram range including Broad Peak and the Gasherbrums, Baltoro Kangri (The Golden Throne)and Chogolisa, to name but a few.

  • Batura trek
  • Naltar-Pakore trek
  • Rush lake trek
  • Biafo-Hispar & Snow Lake trek
  • Fairy Meadows & NangaParbat B.C. trek

These spectacular treks are all in remote and magnificent areas of Pakistan where only a handful of trekkers venture each season.
